Overview: The trip was awarded to the thirty top sales people of a German pharmaceutical company.
The event: This was a 5 day twin centre programme based in the Galway area and Dublin city using 5* accommodation throughout the trip.
Upon arrival into Ireland, guests were transferred to Galway city. A stop off in the luxurious Carton House where a Champagne Irish cocktail accompanied with a beautiful 3 course lunch welcomed guests, as well as a tour and whiskey tasting tutorial at Kilbeggan distillery. After settling down in the designer G hotel in Galway city, a delicious seafood dinner was served on the pier.
To reach their accommodation on the next day, guests went on a self drive treasure hunt in jeeps across the beautiful Connemara landscape. The hunt included a stop for a private scenic flight over the Aran Islands and lunch at a local pub for a traditional Irish stew. The final stop of the day was Ashford Castle where hotel staff greeted guests at the entrance and welcomed them with an Irish whiskey cocktail. The day concluded with a traditional Irish night full of music and Irish dancing in the Dungeon bar.
It was an early start this morning as guests set off on a cruise on Lough Corrib completed with a brief visit on Inchagoill Island before transferring back to Dublin to experience all the thrills that the capital has to offer. Sponsoring a race and enjoying a night at the dog races, sightseeing on WWII DUKWS that carried them on land and in water as well as visiting the Guinness Storehouse were some of the activities offered. Guests also embraced the Irish culture with a surprise Irish dance class while sipping Irish coffee in a traditional pub. For their final night, a simple yet elegant gala dinner was organised in a private city centre venue with a duo of violinists playing background music.
Before catching their departure flights, guests visited Malahide Castle under the watchful eye of a hilarious Lord Talbot character and enjoyed a fresh seafood lunch in Howth as a final farewell to a highly successful incentive trip in Ireland.
